Kesha

On one side of the ring is a Lady who would spit pearls in a bid to raise awareness about AIDS.  And on the other side is the girl who allegedly vandalized the Hollywood sign in a bid to raise awareness about the lifestyle of young charttoppers.

Lady Gaga kicked of Fashion Week at amfAR’s New York gala to honor Elton John and raise awareness on AIDS, with a riveting performance of Future Love, in which the starlet dressed in white, spewed pearls.

Organizers said that the reason she was spewing pearls, was because they wanted to highlighting how to relate to AIDS in a beautiful way, ‘she’s puking out beautiful things,’ said designer Terence Kohn on explaining the stunt.  Oh yes, they were real pearls.

Speaking of Gaga and Elton, remember the duet from the Grammys?

And then there’s the girl who is always on the clock in times of charttopping success.  Tic Toc singer, Kesha was reported to have vandalized the Hollywood sign, an allegation that her team of official spokespeople says, is untrue.  The only thing apparently she really fights is the lead up to morning light.

Ryan Secrest had to battle both girls’ music ambitions to announce who had the number 1 hit in America (see Chart below).  And added to the feisty girl power, was the actress who has made headlines with her directorial debut.  Drew Barrymore was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on the release of her new film, Whip It, which marks her first effort on the director’s seat.
