Taken off the album Dark Horse, I’d Come For You is a slow rock easy-on-the-ears song that works mostly because of Chad Kroeger’s singing style is relegated to a guy-next-door uncomplicated delivery and not the wannabe-rock star version that embarrassed true post-grunge followers .Â
Collaborating with Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard and of course Shania Twain) bode well for the band – duh!
And yes we can picture this one playing maybe not at a frat party, but definitely in a frat house. And you know you’ve got a winner when you’ve got those college kids listening.
